PORT ADELAIDE has a near fully fit squad to choose from for its AFL preliminary final in a fortnight.

Defenders Hamish Hartlett and Lachie Jones are set to return following respective knee and ankle surgeries in Saturday’s SANFL game against Glenelg after each missing about a month of football.

Forward Mitch Georgiades could join them, having sat out the qualifying final win over Geelong with soreness in his left hamstring.

The 19-year-old will have his fitness tested at training as the week progresses to determine his availability to tackle the Bays, but he is almost certain to be available for the AFL final a week later.

Fellow forward Orazio Fantasia is also on track to be available for selection for that final after being subbed out of Friday night’s win over the Cats with knee soreness.

Fantasia booted four goals but came from the ground in the last quarter after suffering a knock to his left knee.

He is expected to train as normal when players return from a short period of leave later in the week.

Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side for Saturday’s final round of the SANFL home and away season with the AFL side to have the weekend off.
