True Believers aching for love… do not fret, Perfect Pear is back!

Port Adelaide's Perfect Pear returns in 2022, with 11 more couples to be brought together at Adelaide Oval this season.

For many people there can be no greater test of compatibility than whether their match supports the same footy team.

Perfect Pear removes the possibility of that awkward Crow-versation. 

With Adelaide Oval back to full capacity this season, fans will again have the chance to be matched with their Perfect Pear for a date at a Port Adelaide home game.

They will be introduced to each other (and the crowd) on the big screen pre-match, then will enjoy time alone in an open corporate box.

Finally, at three quarter time, the crowd will check in on the couple to see how things are going and whether they would like a second date.

If they choose to have a second date, they will be given a restaurant voucher to enjoy more time together and chat all things Port Adelaide.  

Prospective relationship-goers could even find themselves matched with Port Adelaide royalty, as we saw last year with Amy Cornes – sister of Chad Cornes – saying ‘yes’ to a follow-up date with her match day beau.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over and complete an online profile which includes questions about their interests, hobbies, best pick-up lines and preferred age range.

22 individuals will be ultimately selected to form 11 couples – one for each of the Power’s home games at Adelaide Oval in 2022.
