PORT ADELAIDE captain Tom Jonas has been offered a financial sanction after being charged with rough conduct by the Match Review Officer.

Jonas was charged over contact he made when bumping Fremantle’s James Aish in the first quarter of Sunday’s game at Optus Stadium in Perth.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct with high contact but of low impact.

He was initially fined $3000 but Jonas can accept a $2000 sanction with an early guilty plea.

It means the skipper will be available to face Greater Western Sydney at Adelaide Oval from 7pm on Saturday night.

Fremantle’s Caleb Serong can accept $3000 fine as a second rough conduct offence for a dangerous tackle on the Power’s Connor Rozee in the last quarter of the match.
