THE AFL has confirmed Port Adelaide will play the Western Bulldogs as part of the competition’s Gather Round – Festival of Football next season.
Round 5 will be a special event with all clubs playing in South Australia across a four-day period.
Port Adelaide’s game, to be played at Adelaide Oval, will get underway at 7:20pm as part of a double header at the venue on Saturday 15 April.
Essendon will tackle Melbourne in the earlier game from 3:40pm.
Club members with game access will be able to redeem a free ticket to the double header in addition to their usual three, six or 11-game entitlement.
More ticketing information will be made available in the coming days.
The AFL has so far revealed Port Adelaide will open its season at Adelaide Oval against Brisbane at 4:05pm on Saturday 18 March – the club’s first home game in Round 1 since 2018.
The remainder of the fixture is expected to be released in the coming days.
