DEFENDER Ryan Burton will miss Port Adelaide’s games against the Crows and Sydney after pleading guilty to a rough conduct charge.

Burton was cited for his tackle on Collingwood’s Jamie Elliott during the third quarter of Saturday’s game at the MCG.

The AFL’s Match Review Officer graded the tackle as careless with high contact and of high impact.

Elliott was awarded a free kick and was able to play out the game.

The two-game suspension ends Burton’s run of 49 consecutive matches.
