Recap Port Adelaide's goals from the SANFL Grand Final thanks to Channel 7 Adelaide.

First Quarter

Jake Neade lined up from the forward pocket to slot through the Magpies' first goal of the game after kicking two points to start the game.

The second goal came from a ball up in the forward line, Lobbe from the middle of the pack turned and snapped it through.

Second Quarter

Brett Eddy marked the ball just outside the 50 kicked it over heads to Tom Gray who crumbed the ball and squeezed it through on the run.

 

Third Quarter

 

The Magpies held 50 percent more possession for the quarter, but struggled to make it count in front of goals, poor passes and great positioning from Sturt kept the Magpies goalless.  

Fourth Quarter

From a throw-in from the boundary, Jake Neade emerged from the middle of a pack, turned and snapped it through for the first goal of the final quarter.

 

Brendon Ah Chee mopped up the ball from the wing, ran down the boundary line and drop-punted it through the middle for a crucial goal.

Robbie Young switched the ball across the 50 to Steven Summerton, drew around and handed off to Tom Gray who slotted it through to make it three in a row and to level the score at 43-all.

 

Ah Chee with his second goal of the quarter brought the Magpies back within a point, Port continued to fight hard as the game went into over time they held the pressure up well, but it was all too late as the siren sounded the game was over and the victory went to Sturt.
