IN: S Syme

OUT: O Levicki

PORT ADELAIDE has made just one change to its starting side for the club’s first NAB AFLW home game of the season, happening this Saturday at Alberton Oval.

Sachi Syme comes in for Olivia Levicki, with Syme returning from a one-week ban, which was handed down following the final round of 2022.

Syme, who was recently voted into the Power’s emerging leader group, will add versatility and a vocal on-field presence to the line-up.

Young tall Indy Tahau has been named to take on her former side this weekend, with it being the first time the two teams have met since Port Adelaide joined the league.

Experienced defender Maddy Keryk, zippy mid-forward Katelyn Pope and tall utility Jasmine Simmons have all been named emergencies.

Midfielder Maria Moloney is unavailable for selection this week as she serves the second week of a two-match suspension. Moloney is also recovering from an ankle sprain but is expected to be available for Round 3.

Tickets are still available for the match. You can also access all home and away matches with your Port Adelaide AFLW membership – they’re great value and on sale now.

Saturday’s game gets under way at 12:35pm ACST and will be shown live on 7mate, Fox Footy and Kayo.
