INDY TAHAU's 2023 NAB AFLW season has come to an end with imaging confirming the tall forward has ruptured her ACL.

Tahau twisted her knee during Saturday’s game against Geelong, after which she left the ground and took no further part in the match.

The 20-year-old will have surgery in the coming days to reconstruct the ligament.

Winger Ella Boag was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s line-up after injuring her ankle during training on Thursday.

Scans revealed a lateral ankle sprain, with Boag set to spend three to four weeks on the sidelines.

Julia Teakle is making positive progress after signs of stress were detected in her foot following the side’s Round 2 loss against Brisbane.

She is expected to return to running this week and will be aiming toward a return to play in within the next three weeks.

Port Adelaide will name its side for this Friday’s game against West Coast at 5:50pm ACST on Thursday.

Injury list
Julia Teakle – foot (2-3 weeks)
