THE SANFL has confirmed Port Adelaide’s fixture for the first 11 rounds of the 2024 season, with two games to be played under lights at Alberton Oval.
Rounds 12 to 19 remain as floating fixtures, with exact days and times to be confirmed at a later date, however opponents and venues have been locked in for all minor rounds.
The Magpies' two night fixtures will take place in Round 4 (Saturday, 27 April) against traditional rivals, Norwood, while Sturt will visit Alberton in Round 8 for a Friday night clash (Friday, 31 May).
Port Adelaide will travel to Waikerie in the Riverland for the annual Russell Ebert tribute match in Round 2 against West Adelaide, with the Magpies aiming to win the special fixture for the third time.
The memorial match was first played in 2022 to honour late club legend Ebert, who sadly passed away after a cancer battle the year prior, at age 72.
As usual, both Showdowns will be played at Adelaide Oval as curtain-raisers for the AFL Showdown, with one in Round 5 (Thursday, 2 May) and one in Round 18 (weekend of 17-18 August).
First Nations Round will be played throughout Round 7, with Port Adelaide to again adopt its traditional place name, Yartapuulti, as a nod to the traditional owners of the land.
Port Adelaide will open its 2024 season against Glenelg at Stratarama Stadium on Good Friday.
