Ins: Aldridge, Cockatoo-Collins, H. Ferrari, Launer, Stevens

Outs: Carter (knee), Narkle (foot), Sinn (hip flexor), Short (omitted), Sweet (AFL)

Port Adelaide has named two SANFL debutants and one club debutant in its Round 3 side with Dustin Launer and Preston Cockatoo-Collins included to face Woodville-West Torrens.

Launer played junior footy and in the reserves for the Eagles and will be hoping for a happy return against the ladder leaders on Sunday after joining Hamish Hartlett’s side at Alberton in the off-season.

Cockatoo-Collins is the son of Che Cockatoo-Collins, who played 75 AFL and 25 SANFL games for Port Adelaide either side of an 85 AFL game stint with Essendon.

Stevens will make his club debut, having played three SANFL games for West Adelaide last year.

Port Adelaide has also included Hugh Ferrari and Dylan Aldridge in the side.

The Magpies are looking for their first win of the season and will have to do it without ruck Jordon Sweet, who goes into the AFL line-up, Murphy Short, and the injured Miller Carter, Josh Sinn and Quinton Narkle.

Narkle will miss a period of football with a foot issue, after displaying early signs of stress in his navicular, while Sinn suffered a minor hip flexor strain at training. He will be assessed with a view to being available to return next week.

First-year AFL-listed defender Xavier Walsh will also miss, serving the second match of a two-game suspension.

The Magpies will take on the Eagles at Woodville Oval from 2:10pm on Sunday.
