Lauren Young’s AFLW debut has been delayed after the tall forward sustained a concussion during training.
The 19-year-old has entered concussion protocols and is now expected to be available for selection in Round 6.
Meanwhile, luckless defender Cheyenne Hammond suffered a fractured finger during the Power’s Round 4 clash against the Eagles and will undergo surgery.
In positive news, midfielder Kirsty Lamb has overcome hamstring soreness and will be available for selection this week.
Port Adelaide will confirm its team for Saturday’s home game against Melbourne on Thursday at 5:50pm ACST.
