Weeks after achieving more than 78,000 members for the first time in history, Port Adelaide has also broken its AFL-audited record for another year.
The club membership number for 2025 has finished at a record 78,023, with the AFL today confirming the audited number is also a record 72,656 members.
This audited number represents more than a 9.5% increase on last year’s benchmark and reflects the club’s ongoing growth as it continues its 2025 AFLW campaign.
With a strong focus on member retention and nurturing the next generation of Port Adelaide fans, the club has seen significant growth across junior, youth, and family categories, while AFLW memberships have surged by 44.5% year-on-year.
The AFL audit applies consistent criteria across all 18 clubs to provide a standardised view of membership figures league wide.
The primary difference between Port Adelaide’s official club number and the AFL’s audited figure relates to Adelaide Oval stadium members, of which Port Adelaide is allocated 2,624 (32%) of the 8,000 members.
The club's AFLW side will take on Melbourne at Alberton Oval on Saturday, September 13 at 2:35pm.
It’s not too late to join more than 8,000 others as a 2025 AFLW member, with options starting from just $30.
