IN: Evans 3, Lamb 35

OUT: Paterson 7 (omitted), Hammond 28 (injured)

Port Adelaide has confirmed its side to take on Melbourne this Saturday, with exciting draftee Jasmine Evans set to make her AFLW debut.

The 19-year-old forward will don the black, white, and teal for the first time at Alberton after being selected with pick 33 in the 2024 AFLW Draft, becoming the fourth player to debut this season, joining Jasmine Sowden, Chloe Gaunt, and Lily Paterson.

Evans is touted as a classy forward who can also play on the wing, and initially impressed recruiters with her ball use for Central District in the SANFLW, where she was part of the side that won the 2023 premiership alongside new Port Adelaide teammate Caitlin Wendland.

Evans has earned her AFLW opportunity after impressing selectors with her elite foot skills and vision, and will line up on the interchange alongside Ebony O’Dea, Katelyn Pope, Chloe Gaunt, and Alissa Brook.

After an impressive performance against the Eagles, Sachi Syme returns to the backline, while Ash Woodland has been named up forward.

Tickets for the home clash against the Dees at Alberton are on sale now.

The Power will face the Demons from 2:35pm ACST on Saturday, with the match broadcast live on Fox Footy, Kayo, and Binge from 2:30pm ACST.
