Port Adelaide has named its side to face the GIANTS in Round 12, with co-vice-captain Julia Teakle returning to the forward line and Ash Woodland set to celebrate her 75th AFLW game.
After an extended period on the sidelines managing a foot injury sustained during the pre-season, Teakle is set to play her first game of the 2025 season.
Woodland’s milestone marks another special moment in her accomplished career, with the 2022 premiership player and All-Australian looking to continue her string of strong performances.
Averaging 17.7 disposals since her move to the midfield this season, Woodland’s consistency, composure and leadership have cemented her as a key figure in the Power’s young side.
Fresh off breaking the record for the most goals kicked in an AFLW season, Indy Tahau has again been named in the forward line, with the prolific scorer sitting atop the league’s goalkicking list.
Meanwhile, Gemma Houghton remains in the race to become the first player in AFLW history to reach 100 career goals, needing just four majors on Saturday afternoon to achieve the milestone.
Port Adelaide will take on the GIANTS at Henson Park on Saturday afternoon, with first bounce at 12:35pm ACDT. Fans
