WEST COAST has responded to a disappointing first-round loss to Brisbane at the Gabba with three consecutive victories to sit third on the AFL ladder.

The Eagles held on to beat a fast-finishing Fremantle by 13 points in their last start, with minimal injury concerns coming from the game.

Lewis Jetta was a late out - withdrawn from the Dockers’ clash with a hamstring complaint - and will need to pass a fitness test if he is to play in Good Friday’s blockbuster with Port Adelaide.

Jake Waterman has kicked 10 goals in his two WAFL appearances this year and must be around the mark for selection, while Matthew Allen had 25 touches in last weekend’s win over Peel Thunder.

Veteran defender Will Schofield will be in the mix if Jetta is ruled out for a second consecutive week.

The final teams will be announced on Thursday evening.
