PORT ADELAIDE will have its sixth AFL debutant for the season when it faces Hawthorn in Launceston on Saturday afternoon in Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

Peter Ladhams will play his first AFL game against the Hawks after ruckman Scott Lycett didn’t recover from an adductor injury.

Ladhams has been in very strong form in the SANFL, averaging 22.6 disposals, 25 hit-outs and more than a goal a game.

Co-captain Tom Jonas and star forward Robbie Gray will both return to the Power side after overcoming calf and hand injuries respectively.

Defender Joel Garner was omitted at the expense of the co-captain, while Gray will take the place of Joe Atley.

Garner, Atley, Sam Mayes and Willem Drew are the four emergencies for the clash against Hawthorn.

Any emergency not required at AFL level will line-up for the Magpies in the SANFL.

Port face the Hawks at University of Tasmania Stadium on Saturday afternoon with the first bounce commencing at 1.15pm ACST.

Hamish Hartlett will return to football this weekend in the SANFL, when the Magpies travel to the Bay to face Glenelg on Sunday afternoon.

Hartlett hasn’t played since the Magpies’ Round 1 win over West Adelaide due to a hamstring injury, but will slot into the defensive set-up against the Tigers.

Aidyn Johnson and Ben Edwards also return to SANFL action in Round 7.

Edwards will take Ladhams’ position in the ruck, while Johnson will slot into is customary pressure forward role.

Trent McKenzie and Matthew Appleton will both miss the match with injuries, while Willem Drew is listed as an AFL emergency.

Glenelg host Port Adelaide at ACH Group Stadium on Sunday afternoon with the first bounce commencing at 1.10pm.
