PORT ADELAIDE could look to make a few changes from the side that lost to Greater Western Sydney by one point for its crucial clash with Essendon on Saturday afternoon.

Key forward Charlie Dixon was in good form for the Magpies in the SANFL booting three goals, while Steven Motlop was strong with 15 touches and four goals.

Joe Atley was prolific in the midfield, collecting 27 disposals, 11 clearances and four tackles, while Willem Drew (26 disposals), Trent McKenzie (26) and Jack Trengove (25 and two goals) were key players in the 28-point victory over South Adelaide.

Peter Ladhams booted three goals from 17 touches, while Todd Marshall kicked two majors from 10 possessions, six tackles and five marks. Both players will come into the selection mix to face the Bombers.

The final team will be announced on Thursday evening, ahead of Saturday afternoon’s match-up with the Bombers at Marvel Stadium.
