Wasn’t it great to see a Power victory on Saturday night.

From an AFL Fantasy point of view we had a very even spread of scores. Our high scorer of the year Brad Ebert had a quieter night, but at 81 he was still very good. He is still averaging 113.8, and don’t worry that his Break Even is now up to 123. If you have him already, price isn’t your main concern as you don’t plan on selling him!

Nathan Krakouer has been fantastic from a Fantasy point of view. He is averaging 68 points and has a break even of -15 which means he will go up further next game. He has already gone up $47k so if you do want him in, this is probably your last chance before he becomes too expensive. He probably only has two more weeks of growth left in him.

Robbie Gray missed the game this week against the Hawks but he will be back this week against Adelaide based on what we have heard from Kenny. So if you kept him and put him on the bench then make sure you put him back on the field. If you traded him out, then look to bring him back in unless you think he won’t reach his BE of 114 which would see him fall in price.

Jasper Pittard has been great so far, whilst he was down on the weekend with 71 I expect that he will get back close to the 100 mark again shortly.

In other news there were more issues with our teams. Very popular rookie Isaac Heeney was subbed off with a score of 17 due to an ankle injury. His Break Even is now up to 68 which is a concern. It may be worth looking at trading him out as his value growth will be very low over the next few weeks, particularly if he is troubled by the ankle. Watch the team sheets.

Mitch Honeychurch wore the green vest last week and that had a bad effect both his scoring and his value generation. A BE of 43 isn’t ideal so if you have him you might want to look at moving him on.

It is also decision time for Jack Newnes. He hasn’t been performing and he has now lost you $27k. You need to decide if you are going to keep him or move him on before he loses too much value.

Great first game by Blaine Boekhurst from Carlton. He avoided the vests and had a tidy score as well. Keep an eye on him for upcoming weeks.

Kamdyn McIntosh didn’t have the best of games, but it is his first failure for us. I will be keeping him for another week yet. His BE is only 21 and he should comfortably reach this and improve in price again.

For those that don’t understand how Break Evens or BE’s as we call them work; the Break Even score for a player is the score that they need to achieve to maintain their current price. So if they beat their BE then they will rise and if they don’t reach it their price will fall.

What you want to be doing with your rookies is watching their BE’s. As soon as it reaches or gets very close to their average scores you should be looking to move them on for a cheaper player, i.e. cash them in. Then we use this money to upgrade other players to reach a full premium team.

Best of luck this week and hopefully the Power boys can make it three wins in a row!
