PORT ADELAIDE superstar Robbie Gray will head to East Gippsland this Saturday to run a free football clinic for those affected by bushfires in the region.

Gray has been watching the devastating effect the ravaging fires have had around Australia and was inspired to assist the community he once called home after learning a family friend had lost their home.

The four-time All-Australian will be running a free footy clinic for local kids at the Paynesville Football Ground, followed by a Q&A session with prizes and giveaways. The informal event will get underway from 2pm on Saturday 18th.

Gray will miss training on Saturday morning, but heads east with the absolute blessing of the club in the hope his small gesture of kindness can bring a smile to the faces of those doing it tough.
