NATHAN Krakouer will play his first game for Port Adelaide's SANFL League side since returning to the club at the beginning of the year.

The late inclusions of Paul Stewart and Ben Newton in the Power's AFL lineup has given Krakouer the opportunity to play his first game for the club as he looks to mount a return to elite football.

He's the latest member of Port Adelaide's contracted SANFL list to play League footy this year, following the lead of young guns Zac Hawkins, Robbie Young, Anthony Biemans, Angus Bruggemann, Ben Haren and Louis Sharrad.

Krakouer joins Port Adelaide's Irish recruit Daniel Flynn who will play his first high-standard game of home-and-away football since being signed by the club as an international rookie in 2013.

Sam Gray will also play after travelling with the club's AFL team to Canberra as an emergency.

Action from the Clare Oval against the Crows gets underway at 2:10pm, with a live telecast for South Australian viewers on 7mate (Channel 73).
