What are the game details?

Round 8, Port Adelaide v St Kilda

Saturday 25 July, 7:10pm Adelaide Oval

Gates open 5:30pm

What is the crowd capacity?

Current SA Health and Government guidelines permit a crowd of 50% of stadium capacity.

This capacity factors in the requirement to adhere to social distancing guidelines and AFL regulations around crowd attendance. This includes;

  • Rows A and B on ground level must not have spectators
  • Minimum for 6 seats around the players race, interchange bench and coaches’ boxes must not have spectators
  • All spectators must have a reserved seat. Standing areas, including the Hill will not be available.
  • Available seats will be in a ‘checkerboard’ pattern

The stadium capacity will be broken down as follows –

  • PAFC Members
  • Adelaide Oval Football Members
  • St Kilda Members
  • Corporate hospitality and events

How many tickets are available to Members?

The stadium capacity will be broken down as follows:

Adelaide Oval Football Members

2,850

Corporate Hospitality

3,000

Away Club Allocation

425

Home Club Allocation

How can I access tickets to Round 8?

As our game access members exceed the allocation of tickets, we will offer a Member Ticket Allocation process. 2020 membership tickets will not scan. Members who wish to attend the game must enter the Member Ticket Allocation process.

Why is it a Member Ticket Allocation process instead of a ballot?

With the unpredictability of future fixtures and the potential for short deadlines, the Member Ticket Allocation process is a more efficient way of allocating tickets. It provides an immediate seat allocation and ticket via the Ticketek system. Members are effectively ‘purchasing’ their ticket but at no cost.

How does the Member Ticket Allocation work?

Member Ticket Allocations will open on Tuesday 21 July online only via Ticketek. Eligible members will be required to enter their 12-digit barcode(s) to enter the Member Ticket Allocation process.

Members will be allocated best available ticket(s) for the game as per the number of barcodes in their entry. We strongly advise that members accept their first seat allocation as choosing to be offered alternative seats will place you in a queue and potentially miss out on tickets.

Tickets will continue to be allocated until exhausted. No Priority Group will receive guaranteed ticketing, due to the limited capacity available for this game.

What are the priority groups?

29,155 eligible members have been divided into the following priority groups –

Priority Group #1 9am-12:00noon

Power 11 game access members who have pledged 100% of their membership to the Club in 2020. Includes; Reserved seat, Essential Power (Western Stand) and 11 Game General Admission members.

Priority Group #2 1:00pm-2:00pm

Power 11 game access members who have pledged 50-75% of their membership to the Club in 2020. Includes; Reserved seat holders, Essential Power (Western Stand), 11 Game General Admission and AFL members with Port Adelaide Club Support.

Priority Group #3 3:00pm-5:00pm

Reduced game access members who have pledged 100% of their membership to the Club in 2020. Includes; Interstate, 3 game, Country, Flexi, 6 game members and Members who attended the Round 2 Showdown.

Members who made the minimum pledge and requested a 2021 credit or refund; or cancelled will not be eligible for the Round 8 member ticket allocation. If we did not hear from you we assumed you were pledging 100% of your membership to the club.

What do I need to enter the Member Ticket Allocation process?

You will require the 12-digit barcode number which can be found under your barcode on your membership card and a Ticketek account. We will also include your barcode number on the email we send you on Monday 20 July.

Members can enter up to 8 barcodes in one entry to be allocated seating near each other. Member barcodes can only be used once, in one entry. All member barcodes must be eligible for that priority group to be able to enter together.

Members can register with barcodes in lower priority groups. For example, a Priority 1 member could register with a member in Priority 2 or 3 but they will lower their chances of securing a ticket. Members cannot move up into higher priority groups.

We recommend you organise your Ticketek account prior to the day of registration. Please click here to create an account or confirm your existing log in details if you already have a Ticketek account. Your Ticketek account is completely different to that of your membership account login.

Will I be offered tickets in my usual area?

In order to accommodate as many members as possible, whilst adhering to social distancing requirements, we will need to spread out more than we’re used to at the venue. The best available ticket will be allocated to you in a reserved row so Members will not be allocated a seat in their usual area of the venue.

There are several seating restrictions in place from the government and the AFL and we ask for your understanding and support in sitting in the section and row listed on your ticket.

How much do the tickets cost and are there any Ticketek fees?

Member Ticket Allocation is free and tickets will be complimentary for successful members. There are no additional Ticketek fees.

How will I receive my tickets?

All ticketing will be issued as Mobile tickets. No paper tickets or email tickets will be issued and membership cards will not scan.

For match day support or for issues downloading your tickets, please visit the Ticketek Box Office at Adelaide Oval. Ticket offices will open at 5:00pm.

What happens if I miss out on tickets?

If you enter the Ticket Allocation process and Ticketek advise tickets have been exhausted it means that there are no tickets left for your priority group.

Eligible members who do miss out on tickets to Round 8 will be given priority for future home games.

I require a wheelchair space how do I enter the Ticket Allocation process?

Members who require a wheelchair space will be contacted separately regarding the process for them to access tickets.

My barcode isn’t working when I try to enter. What should I do?

Please double check that you are using your current 2020 membership card. If you are entering multiple barcodes please ensure you enter them in a list format (one on top of the other) with no additional characters or spaces. If the barcode is still not working please contact PAFC Member Services on 1300 467 232 as soon as possible so that we can assist you.

Are memberships and tickets transferable?

Tickets must not be on-sold, any member caught re-selling their tickets will have their membership cancelled. If you are unable to attend you are permitted to forward your ticket to friends/family or notify Ticketek so your tickets can be reallocated to other members.

Can a junior or concession membership barcode be upgraded to an adult ticket?

If you have registered for a junior or concession member who is unable to attend, the ticket can be forwarded on. No upgrade fee will be required.

I pledged the minimum amount and received a 2021 credit or refund; can I enter the Member Ticket Allocation process?

As the ticket allocation is 50% of capacity, members who pledged the minimum amount and received a 2021 credit or refund will not be eligible to enter the ballot. Members who have received a 2021 credit or refund can elect to change their pledge to 100% to be eligible for the ballot by contacting PAFC Member Services on 1300 467 232.
