Port Adelaide skipper Tom Jonas has undergone a minor procedure to repair a damaged ligament in his finger.

A duo of senior players has had post-season surgery but their preparation for 2021 is not expected to be impacted.

Captain Tom Jonas has had an operation on a damaged ligament in his finger.

The procedure was relatively minor and it is not expected to affect the 29-year-old’s off-season or preparation for next year.

His predecessor Travis Boak had a minor knee tidy-up that likewise should not impair his preparation for the return to pre-season training.

Last week it was confirmed that vice-captain Hamish Hartlett had an arthroscopic clean-out of his right knee.

Players are now on leave with a date for their return to be confirmed soon.

Post-season surgery list:

Hamish Hartlett – knee

Travis Boak – knee

Tom Jonas – finger
