The club will hold its annual internal trial at Alberton Oval on Saturday morning.

PORT ADELAIDE’s much anticipated internal trial game on Saturday will be streamed online, giving members a chance to catch all the action live.

Seven-time premiership champion Tim Ginever will host the broadcast and call the game, which gets underway at 10am.

Due to the AFL’s COVID-19 protocols, attendance at Alberton Oval will be limited to Life Members, Club1870 members, and the families of some players.

Chief Executive Officer Matthew Richardson says the live stream is a way of ensuring nobody misses out on catching the club’s first pre-season hit-out.

“We would obviously love to be able to open up Alberton to all members as we have done in previous years but the reality is that the health and safety of players, staff, coaches and supporters is our priority, and we have had to limit the crowd accordingly,” he explained.

“However, we are pleased to be able to stream the game live from Alberton Oval into the homes of our members.

“With Tim Ginever leading the commentary team, it will be a great opportunity to see some of the incredible young talent we have on the list and get a glimpse into how the squad is shaping up ahead of what promises to be an exciting year for our club and community.”

The stream will be available on portadelaidefc.com.au from Saturday morning.
