Ken Hinkley will have plenty of options at selection ahead of Round 1.

PORT ADELAIDE will have a near full-strength side to choose from for its season opening game against North Melbourne on Sunday.

Forward Connor Rozee headlines the club’s injury list as he continues to recover from surgery to remove scar tissue from around a joint in his foot.

A timeframe for the 21-year-old’s return will be clearer once he resumes running in the next week.

Defender Hamish Hartlett will need to prove he has overcome the hamstring soreness that kept him out of the AAMI Community Series game against the Crows, but Todd Marshall (cheek) and Trent McKenzie (corked thigh) who also missed that game are available to play.

Experienced defender Tyson Goldsack is edging closer to a return, continuing his rehabilitation from a left MCL sprain suffered in a SANFL trial game a fortnight ago.

Midfielder/forward Sam Powell-Pepper remains on personal leave and is the only other player unavailable to take on the Kangaroos.

Port Adelaide’s team to tackle the Roos will be named on Saturday evening at 5:50pm ACDT.

Sunday’s game at Marvel Stadium gets underway at 12:40pm ACDT.

Injury list

Connor Rozee – foot (TBC)
