In: Rockliff, Powell-Pepper, Appleton, Samblich

Out: Bergman, Woodcock, Frederick, Farrell, McKenzie

SAM POWELL-PEPPER will make his return to football in Port Adelaide’s Round 3 SANFL game against South Adelaide on Saturday.

Powell-Pepper is among four players to come into the side which beat Central District last week with the 23-year-old to play his first game for 2021 after a hand injury and personal leave saw him take time away from the club.

Midfielder Tom Rockliff has been named to return for his first game since being cleared of a concussion suffered in the Round 1 loss to Norwood, while Matt Appleton has also been named for his first SANFL game of the season.

Former Sturt midfielder/forward Sean Samblich could make his long-awaited Port Adelaide debut. Samblich suffered a season-ending knee injury while playing in a pre-season game in 2020 but has been training strongly and has been named to feature against the Panthers.

Miles Bergman, Boyd Woodcock, Martin Frederick, Kane Farrell, and Trent McKenzie go out of the side that beat the Bulldogs at Alberton last Saturday, but if not used in the AFL side will be available to feature at SANFL level.

Port Adelaide will travel to Noarlunga to tackle the Panthers from 2:10pm on Saturday.
