PORT ADELAIDE had two players selected in Round 21’s AFL.com.au Team of the Week after the Power defeated Sydney by 47 points at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Co-captain Tom Jonas was selected in the back pocket, with the key defender playing a pivotal defence role in Port’s victory.

Jonas had a season-high 24 disposals at 92 per cent efficiency, along with six marks and eight rebound 50s.

Darcy Byrne-Jones found himself on the half-back flank after collecting a team-high 28 disposals against the Swans.

Byrne-Jones provided plenty of run from the defensive half in Saturday’s win, and delivered the ball inside 50 on seven occasions.

The 23-year-old was also unanimously recognised by the coaches - receiving the maximum 10 votes in the Shadforth AFLCA Player of the Year award.
