Port Adelaide trio Matilda Scholz, Shineah Goody and Molly Brooksby have been named in the AFL Players’ Association’s 22Under22 squad for the 2026 AFLW season. 

Scholz, 21, earns her fourth consecutive squad selection, having also been recognised in 2023, 2024 and 2025, when she was named in the final team. 

Standing at 189 centimetres, Scholz has continued to establish herself as one of the competition’s premier rucks, enjoying a dominant 2026 campaign in which she averaged 18.2 disposals and 26.8 hit-outs per game. 

Her impact was highlighted by a total of 321 hit-outs across the regular season, ranking her first in the league and making her just the fifth player in AFLW history to achieve the feat.

She has also demonstrated her versatility with the ability to swing forward and hit the scoreboard, showcasing her aerial ability and football intelligence. 

Goody has continued to develop her impact as an inside midfielder, taking on greater responsibility throughout the 2026 season. 

With clean hands and an ability to win the contested ball, the 20-year-old averaged 13.4 disposals and 5.8 tackles per game, with her clearance work, tackling pressure and ability to influence stoppages important features of her game. 

Goody, 20, has also showcased her forward craft and natural football talent, hitting the scoreboard on several occasions throughout the season, including with a clutch checkside snap under pressure in Showdown V.

Brooksby has again been a reliable contributor in defence, enjoying a consistent 2026 season with her footy intelligence and ability to use both sides of her body key strengths. 

Combining a booming left foot with an ability to extract the ball from traffic, the 21-year-old averaged 13.5 disposals, 10.2 kicks and 210 metres gained per game, providing composure and consistency across the Power's backline. 

Brooksby has also been recognised in the AFLPA's 22Under22 squad in 2024 and 2025, making this her third consecutive selection.
