A strongly built small forward, Francis Evans was picked up by Port Adelaide as a delisted free agent at the conclusion of the 2022 season. The 23-year-old has shown good goal sense, strong overhead marking ability and a willingness to work hard to win the ball and keep it in the forward line.

2024 was Evans’ most consistent season in the AFL system, playing 17 AFL games including the last 11 of Port Adelaide’s campaign. Evans was de-listed by Port Adelaide at the conclusion of the 2024 season, bringing his time at the Power to a close.
