High-flyer Mitch Georgiades has shown to be one of Port Adelaide's most exciting young talents. He is developing himself as a strong key forward capable of exerting dominance in the forward half when given the opportunity.
Known for his huge grabs and ability to get his hands on the ball, Georgiades has shown in his young career that he can dominate the forward line when the ball is coming his way. Now recognised by rival clubs as a genuine threat up forward, Georgiades has seen the company of some of the league’s best big defenders and should expect that treatment moving forward as he continues to build consistency in his young career.
An ACL injury suffered early in the season put him out of action in 2023, however his raw talent and resilience will see him bounce back in 2024. Despite strong rival interest, the young talent signed a contract extension keeping him at Alberton until at least the end of 2027, displaying the club's faith in his ability and huge potential to develop into one of the league's best key forwards.
