Midfielder Jacob Wehr was drafted to GWS with pick 59 in the 2020 Draft as a mature aged recruit. A South Australian native, the 28-year-old debuted in 2022 and with his efforts that year, earned the Giants' Rising Star Award. Known for his high work-rate and clean disposal, Wehr played 39 games before making the move to Alberton.
The classy left-footer played 17 games in his first year in black, white and teal and provides important midfield depth to Port Adelaide's side.
