PORT ADELAIDE midfielder Travis Boak has been selected in the Virgin Australia All-Australian 40-man squad.

Boak - who has previously been All-Australian in 2013 and 2014 - was a standout in the middle of the ground for Port in season 2019, averaging 30.3 disposals a game and booting 10 goals.

The 31-year-old had 30 or more disposals in 13 of his 21 games this year, with his highest tally of 40 coming against Greater Western Sydney in Round 19 at Adelaide Oval.

The former skipper also recorded a career-high 146 clearances for the season, had 97 inside 50s, 24 rebound 50s and laid 102 tackles.

Boak is the only member of the Power line-up in the 40-man squad, with the final team to be announced on Wednesday 28 August.
