THE AFL has today confirmed the Round 23 Showdown between Port Adelaide and the Crows will be played on the night of Saturday 20th of August at 7pm.
The final update of the rolling fixture for the 2022 AFL Premiership Season has Port Adelaide hosting Adelaide in the primetime Saturday night slot.
Port Adelaide has won four of the last five meetings between the clubs with the last two encounters each being decided by four points.
The Showdown ledger sits narrowly in Port Adelaide’s favour with 26 wins from 51 matches.
Tickets for Round 23 will be available to purchase via Ticketek on Monday 1 August at 11am ACST for members and 2.30pm ACST for the general public.

The game will be part of a Showdown double header with the SANFL sides from each club to play at Adelaide Oval on the same day.
The SANFL has yet to confirm the time of that match.
