PORT ADELAIDE's Sachi Syme and Maria Moloney have been banned for one and two matches respectively for incidents occurring in Sunday’s game against Essendon.

Moloney was cited for rough conduct for a tackle on Lily-Rose Williamson in the dying minutes of the fourth term. Williamson was stretchered from the ground and took no further part in the match.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with high contact and high impact.

Syme was cited for rough conduct for a tackle on Jacqui Vogt, also in the final quarter. Syme’s tackle was assessed as careless conduct with high contact and medium impact.

Both players will serve their suspensions at the beginning of the 2023 season.
