RYAN BURTON will return to Port Adelaide’s line-up for Saturday night’s Gather Round game against the Western Bulldogs.
Burton has missed the last two games after being suspended in the Round 2 game against Collingwood.
Along with the 26-year-old, leadership group member and fellow defender Darcy Byrne-Jones will come into the starting 22 after making an impact off the bench as the tactical substitute in last week’s win over the Swans in Sydney.
Knee soreness will see captain Tom Jonas sit out the game while midfielder Jackson Mead has been omitted.
Mead has been included among the emergencies along with defender Tom Clurey, forward Mitch Georgiades and wingman Riley Bonner.
The tactical sub will be named an hour before Saturday night’s 7:20pm ACST first bounce at Adelaide Oval. The match is the second game of a Gather Round double header following Essendon’s clash with Melbourne.
Members are reminded that if they have not already redeemed a ticket to the game, they will not be granted entry with their membership card at the gate because tickets for the game are exhausted. This will not impact standard membership entitlements.
If members have already redeemed a ticket, they’ll be able to use their tickets to enter at the gate. Members with tickets will have access to both games at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
