THE Port Adelaide Football Club is pleased to welcome Them Advertising as its official Digital and Media Buying Partner for the 2025 season.

The partnership will see the Adelaide-based agency work closely with the club’s internal marketing team on devising innovative and audience-focused digital strategies that will embrace emerging trends and help Port Adelaide achieve its target of 100,000 memberships.

Port Adelaide Football Club, Chief Marketing Officer Kristen Eckhardt said she was excited to welcome Them Advertising to its partner network and looks forward to tapping into their expertise on the ever-changing digital advertising practices and technologies.

“I’m delighted the club now has an experienced partner on board who is completely across the latest digital developments and who can collaborate with our internal marketing team to ensure the Port Adelaide brand remains front and centre,” Ms. Eckhardt said.

“Partnering with a full-service agency who can oversee both the digital and media buying for the club is a huge plus because it will streamline our processes and ensure our marketing dollar is being used efficiently to grow our membership base.”

Them Advertising Managing Director Leesa McMahon said the agency had invested heavily in its digital capabilities in recent years.

“We’ve assembled an in-house digital team that comprises some of the sharpest minds and best talent from around the world,” Ms. McMahon said.

“Our official partnership with the club will complement the excellent work already being done by the internal marketing team, and we look forward to engaging footy fans’ hearts and minds and elevating the Port Adelaide brand even further in 2025.”

The agency’s appointment as Digital and Media Buying Partner is the latest chapter in Them Advertising’s long association with Port Adelaide.

Agency Executive Chairman Mark Wightman served on the Port Adelaide Board between 2002 and 2007 and helped develop the club’s original brand for its 1997 AFL debut.
