IN: Borg 21
OUT: Stewart 13 (omitted)

Co-vice-captain Amelie Borg will make her return to Yartapuulti’s lineup this Saturday, marking the opening weekend of Indigenous Round.

Borg returns to the backline after successfully recovering from the ankle injury sustained in Round 1, while exciting young forward Chloe Gaunt retains her place in the side for a second consecutive AFLW appearance, as will fellow draftee Lily Paterson who has again been named on the interchange.

Fresh off a two-goal performance in Round 2, proud Yindjibarndi woman Gemma Houghton will again feature in the forward line, alongside Ash Woodland, Jasmine Sowden, Justine Mules-Robinson and Gaunt.

The team will proudly wear a guernsey created by past player Gavin Wanganeen, featuring a beautiful hand-painted design inspired by First Nations people’s connection to the Milky Way.

The last time the Power took on the SUNS was in Round 9 at People’s First Stadium, with Yartapuulti taking a 34-point win.

Saturday’s game begins at 4:35pm Adelaide time at Alberton Oval, and the match will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.

Tickets are on sale now - with free entry for all children under 18.
