Port Adelaide Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Parham to the newly created position of Director of Athletic Performance.
The restructure brings together the club's athletic performance, sports science and medical services under Parham's leadership.
Parham’s extensive experience includes roles as Head of Player Health and Performance Rehabilitation at Adelaide Football Club (2020-2024) and Rehabilitation Coordinator with English Premier League club Arsenal FC (2018-2020).
Port Adelaide CEO Matthew Richardson said Parham's appointment is a strong commitment in building on the preparation and athletic performance of its players.
“By bringing athlete performance, sport science and medical services together under Tim’s leadership we are aligning all aspects of player preparation,” Mr Richardson said.
"Tim has built an impressive career across the AFL and internationally in the EPL, and his ability to build great relationships and trust sees him perfectly placed to lead our program.
“He has earned this opportunity and we have great confidence in his ability to lead a team which will enhance the development and performance of our players.”
