The Port Adelaide Football Club is pleased to announce that captain Justine Mules-Robinson, and dynamic midfielders Katelyn Pope and Kirsty Lamb have signed one-year contract extensions, keeping them at Alberton until at least the end of the 2026 AFLW season.

A three-time premiership player, Mules-Robinson was appointed captain ahead of the 2025 season and has set the standard for what it means to be a Port Adelaide player through her leadership, consistency, and relentless work ethic.

The 94-game* forward averaged 10.3 disposals across the 2025 season, including a standout 14-disposal Showdown IV performance against her former side.

Taken with Port Adelaide’s second pick in the 2023 AFLW Supplementary Draft, Pope has quickly established herself as a reliable and energetic presence in the team.

Known for her speed, endurance, and selflessness, the 29-year-old enjoyed a breakout 2025 season, playing every game and cementing her role as a key contributor to the young side.

An All-Australian midfielder known for her toughness at the contest and reliability around the ball, Kirsty Lamb joined Port Adelaide during the 2023 AFLW draft period.

Bringing a wealth of football knowledge and experience, she has been an invaluable addition to Port Adelaide’s developing side.

An 85-game* veteran, Lamb has played a key role in the club’s leadership group, supporting captain Justine Mules-Robinson and vice-captains Amelie Borg and Julia Teakle.

In the 2025 season, she featured in six games, averaging 11.3 disposals, including a season-high 16 against Fremantle.

Port Adelaide Head of AFLW Shane Grimm said he was thrilled to secure the signatures of Mules-Robinson, Pope and Lamb.

“Justine has been an outstanding captain both on and off the field,” Grimm said.

“She’s a natural leader whose maturity and experience have been invaluable for our young group. She’s a fierce competitor who leads by example and brings out the best in those around her. We’re delighted she’ll remain at Alberton in 2026.

“Katelyn has had an outstanding season. Her selflessness and work rate have been key pillars of her game, and she’s developed significantly as a player. Her versatility and energy make her an integral part of our side, and we’re excited to see her continue to grow.

“Kirsty’s experience and leadership have been invaluable in helping develop our younger players.

“Her professionalism and football IQ have had a significant impact on the group. She sets incredibly high standards in everything she does and continues to be a fantastic mentor for our emerging talent.

“Having all three re-sign is a strong reflection of our commitment to consistency and maintaining continuity within our emerging group.”

The announcement follows recent re-signings of star forward Gemma Houghton and co-vice-captains Julia Teakle and Amelie Borg, who have all committed to Port Adelaide on two-year extensions.
