PORT ADELAIDE'S Round 3 home crowd of 53,698 is a new AFL record for the Adelaide Oval.
It eclipsed the previous best mark of 53,518 - posted in Showdown 39.
The new record comes as Port Adelaide clicks over 57,000 members in its chase for 60,000 this season.
The biggest non-Showdown crowd remains in Crow hands - 53,141 against Geelong in the 'Dangerfield' game last year, while the Power's best remains just shy of it at 52,505 posted against Carlton in 2014.
