Mid-season draftees Alex van Wyk and Xavier Bamert will debut for Port Adelaide in the SANFL this Saturday afternoon at Glenelg, while Jack Lukosius will make his long-awaited return to football.
Van Wyk joined the club from North Adelaide where he’s been playing at league level all season, while Bamert was picked up from North Melbourne’s VFL side after showing positive signs for the first part of the year.
Lukosius comes in following an eight-week rehab block for a troublesome groin, with the 25-year-old to take the field for the first time since mid-April.
Jack Watkins and Will Lorenz join the SANFL side after time in the AFL, while Jackson Mead, Tom Cochrane and Dante Visentini come out of the team for AFL duties in Perth this weekend.
Glenelg had a dominant win over North Adelaide in Round 8, while the Magpies had a bye break after a tough loss to Woodville-West Torrens.
Port Adelaide takes on the Tigers from 2:10pm at Glenelg Oval this Saturday afternoon.
