HAWTHORN will be without ruckman Ben McEvoy for its clash with Port Adelaide in Launceston in Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

McEvoy left the field with a nasty looking ankle injury in the first quarter, and is expected to miss up to a month of football.

Forward Mitch Lewis suffered a concussion against Richmond, while key defender James Frawley was a late withdrawal for the clash with the Tigers.

Former Power player Chad Wingard hasn’t played since Round 7 with a hamstring complaint, but may return to face his old side in Tasmania.

Speedster Isaac Smith has also missed the past fortnight with a footy injury, and may be in-line to face Port this weekend.

David Mirra was the best of the Hawks-listed players in the VFL with 23 touches, 11 marks and eight rebound 50s, while lockdown midfielder Daniel Howe was also impressive with 25 disposals and five tackles on his VFL return.

The Hawks host the Power at University of Tasmania Stadium in Launceston on Saturday from 1.15pm ACST in Round 10.
