DOM CASSISI will be assessed at training this week for a possible return against St Kilda.

No injuries were reported from Port Adelaide’s 45-point loss to Hawthorn on Saturday.

The Power’s high performance manager Darren Burgess says Cassisi has progressed well through his rehabilitation for a hamstring injury and could make an early return against the Saints.

“Dom’s ticked every box, but obviously he’s had a history this year of a few injuries so we’ll just see how he trains,” Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

“He’ll fully train with the group this week and be back either this week or next.”

Brett Ebert’s rehab for an adductor injury is progressing steadily, with Burgess slating him for a return within the next fortnight.

“He’s progressing through his rehab and hopefully for the last seven to eight weeks of the year we shouldn’t have any issues with him,” said Burgess.

“He should be able to play if not next week then the week after.”

Daniel Stewart will also be assessed at training for a possible return for North Adelaide against Port’s SANFL side this Saturday.
