PORT ADELAIDE forward Brad Ebert has been offered a one-match suspension for engaging in rough conduct during his side’s 17-point win over Greater Western Sydney on Sunday afternoon.

The 30-year-old has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Giant Harry Perryman during the first quarter of the Round 6 match played at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct of medium impact and high contact.

Ebert can accept a one-match suspension with an early plea, which would see him made unavailable for selection for Port Adelaide’s clash with Carlton at the Gabba this Sunday.

Perryman himself was also charged with striking Power midfielder Ollie Wines during the second quarter of the same game.

Perryman can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
