MANY Port Adelaide supporters have worn their colours in memory of the late John McCarthy.
A campaign led by Port Adelaide supporter Ben Mulkerin on Twitter which later spread to the club's Facebook page saw dozens of Power supporters get their kit on for the 12 and 6 kilometre legs of the annual event.

“I was pretty happy with it there were a lot more people with colours than I expected so I was pretty pleased overall,” Ben told PortAdelaideFC.com.au.
“I was 'guernseyed' up and I happened to run into young Hamish Hartlett and Brad Ebert before the run and catch up with them.”
“They were pretty pleased to see so many of us in our guernseys so I’m glad that we were able to make some of the boys happy as well.”
McCarthy's Port Adelaide teammates Brad Ebert, Hamish Hartlett and Justin Westhoff all ran in the event.
