Aliir Aliir's performance against the Tigers earned him the Fans MG MVP award for Round 4.

OFF-SEASON recruit Aliir Aliir has been voted as the fans’ most valued player against Richmond on Friday night.

The Power bounced back from a poor performance against the Eagles the week prior and dug deep to defeat the reigning premiers by two-points in a thrilling clash.

Aliir was a key pillar for the Power across half back, with five intercept possessions, seven spoils and six marks.

The running defender also found plenty of the ball, with a personal season-high 23 disposals, (at 78% disposal efficiency).

After taking the maximum five-points, Aliir sits third on the Fans MG MVP leaderboard.

Travis Boak finished second in the weekly voting after racking up a team-high 29 disposals (13 of them contested), and a game-high seven clearances.

Rounding out the votes this week were Zak Butters (3rd), Xavier Duursma (4th) and Karl Amon (5th).

This week Port Adelaide returns to the MCG for a Saturday night clash against the Blues.
