PORT ADELAIDE will play the ladder leading Western Bulldogs in a prime-time Saturday night blockbuster as part of the latest fixture release by the AFL on Thursday morning.

The AFL has released the fixtures for Rounds 9 and 10, having previously only confirmed up to the end of Round 8.

Port will host the Bulldogs under lights at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 15 May and then travel to Melbourne to face Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday 23 May.

Both games will be screened live on national free to air television.

“Saturday night is the preferred timeslot for our members and it is always a special experience to take in a game at Adelaide Oval under lights with the amazing atmosphere that they create,” said Port Adelaide Chief Executive Matthew Richardson.

“We are also pleased with the prime-time broadcast opportunity of both games, which importantly provides additional national exposure to our corporate partners.

“It’s also terrific for our players to play again in a big game at the MCG, and we know our members and supporters enjoy the opportunity to travel and support the team.”

The AFL is expected to release the next block of fixtures next month for Port Adelaide’s games against Fremantle and Geelong.
