Sam Powell-Pepper kicked three goals in the Power's Sir Doug Nicholls Round win.

Midfield bull Sam Powell-Pepper has taken out his first MG MVP nod for the year after an influential performance in the Power’s win over Fremantle.

The 23-year old finished the night with 20 disposals, five tackles and ten score involvements.

Claiming the maximum five votes, Powell-Pepper jumps into the top ten of the Fans MG MVP leaderboard.

Runner-up in the vote was the man sitting on top of the Fans MG MVP Leaderboard, Ollie Wines.

Wines finished the first half of the season in style, collecting a game high 35 disposals, had eight clearances – five of those from the centre, laid seven tackles and had a huge 14 score involvements.

Rounding out the votes this week was Karl Amon (3rd), Charlie Dixon (4th) and Travis Boak (5th).

Port Adelaide now get to enjoy a short break with the mid-season bye, before turning their attention to facing Geelong in Round 13.
