In: Bergman (Rd 11 medical sub)

Out: Fantasia (injured)

PORT ADELAIDE has made one change for its Thursday night blockbuster clash with Geelong with second-year defender Miles Bergman coming into the starting line-up in place of the injured Orazio Fantasia.

Fantasia had an arthroscopy on his left knee after the win over Fremantle and is likely to be sidelined for another fortnight.

Bergman was the medical substitute in the club’s last game over the Dockers, coming on in the last quarter to replace Ryan Burton.

The 19-year-old has played 10 matches this season and offers versatility with his ability to play in defence, on the wing or as a high forward.

Burton was however cleared of any serious injury to his knee and will maintain his post in the Power's backline against the Cats.

Forward Boyd Woodcock is among the emergencies along with defenders Martin Frederick, Jarrod Lienert and Joel Garner.

Coach Ken Hinkley told media on Wednesday that Woodcock would be the medical substitute, however that will be confirmed an hour before the game starts.

Any player not required at AFL level will be eligible to play at SANFL level for Port Adelaide against Woodville-West Torrens at Woodville Oval on Saturday.

Port Adelaide will take on Geelong at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night from 7:10pm ACST.
