After making his name as a bullocking midfielder, Sam Powell-Pepper made the move to a hybrid forward-midfield role in 2020. A shift that proved an instant success as the West Australian flourished as a high pressure, line-breaking high half-forward capable of devastating bursts through the middle where he showcased his trademark thirst for the ball and contest.

By season’s end, SPP found himself with a new three-year contract to extend his stay at Alberton, having played every game in 2020 and building a promising platform to launch into his 2021 season.
