Arriving at Port Adelaide in the 2023 trade period, ruck Jordon Sweet returned to South Australia looking for more opportunity at the senior level. Having benefitted from working alongside All-Australian ruckman Tim English, Sweet spent the early years of his career developing his fitness, skill and ruck craft.
A mobile tall with a mature body, the 28-year-old had an outstanding 2026 campaign - a breakout year that saw him ranked the 6th best ruck in the competition. Renowned as a workhorse on-field and at training, Sweet has been able to consistently string together strong performances and prove himself as one of Port Adelaide's strongest performers.
